Outside of the anticheat issues which are an actual concern, they picked one that breaks every other game, not just linux. I don't like having to restart my entire PC just to play other games after playing this garbage.

The game itself is a thinly disguised mobile game and it looks the part. The game has barely functional unity animations that don't even properly apply to the animators making it look bad, no matter the settings. That combined with... I counted 12 sets of currency before I got bored of it means I would say absolutely not. Even the character creation is lackluster at best, and the VN styling of it feels actually gross because the characters snap to animations rather than it being instant...

Bleh.

Full disclosure, I originally got this through illegitimate means. After liking the game enough, I decided to buy it. The review is missing a generous number of hours as a result. I'm still thankful to the developers for their patience as I tried to transfer my progress. I'd actually suggest checking out the demo though because of the type of content it has

The game is an incredibly accessible choose-your-own-adventure visual novel made using Renpy with a ridiculous amount of factors and branching paths that make each run fun, and it has a lot of really good accessibility features to be approachable including speech-to-text that are personally very useful.

The game is still largely a VN, but it has equal parts gardening simulator and virtual pet, at least early on. How you handle things also will affect how future runs work in a way that means you actually DO only get better as you continue, and if you need to play worse for some of those stubborn achievements? That's doable, too. The daughters you can raise are all cute and the game's writing does factor in how many and who you raised, and what role they take around your playthroughs... for example, I had one mushroom daughter become the Dude, and now every time I see the Dude, it's just that daughter. Stuff like that makes this really easily enjoyable. Combined with the frequency of the auto saves and how quick it is to dump out a run in general, this is a perfect game for short breaks, or if it ever ends up mobile, even going on the go.

I'd only suggest this as an alternative to XSOverlay if you're like me and XSoverlay, very specifically, causes the entirety of Steam to crash, taking SteamVR with it. The control scheme is worse, the panel layout is worse, the menus are unintuitive at best, and the performance hit is actually significant compared to XSOverlay on my specs, which I considered unusual despite the fact it is way more stable. This needs some serious overhauls before I can change the review.

The translation is bad BUT I EDITED THIS PART, YOU NO LONGER NEED TO COMPLETE THE TUTORIAL TO GET ENGLISH. That's a big issue out of the way.

The tutorial isn't important anyways, mash through it.

The game is a pretty competent, decently generous Gundam-Extreme-Versus/Virtual-On/2V2 Perspective arena fighting/combat game made by a relatively small chinese company. I'd give the game praise for the effort they've made to try and connect to the rest of the world with actually some really good standout designs and even great colour schemes that are outright nods to various mecha series. Each character introduced has a completely new method of play and regular play gives you the ability to pull well on the banners, and initial play will give you enough for around a hundred pulls with the ability to fixate and lock into a character you like.

The downsides are the translations are increasingly bad and the UI of the game is being updated, making it awkward to find some things. But I personally don't care because I like the cute sad dragon. That's pretty much my main reason for playing.

Reminder you can try every character by "Preview" from the costume menu, too, so you can decide what you wanna waste your gacha on. I played for 88 hours at this point and have almost every character so it's not a super difficult thing to get.

Absolutely a great game, filled with content and even more content if you get mods, including that one that makes things not safe for workshop. There's two caveats, though.

When the first DLC came out, it added a lot of interesting stuff that seemed to be usable by modders. The problem came when one of the mods used code from the DLC because "It's there why not", and it turned into a big poopoostorm. Now you are kind of expected to get and own the DLC to use a generous portion of mods. That absolutely sucks.
Except for Anomaly. For all the QoL, it adds some of the dumbest crap imaginable that's playable once and then forever boring and I'm not even sure I need it installed at this point to use some of these mods.

The game has such big issues especially involving terrible fontsetting and machine translation that I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. The game, even on the highest settings looks abysmal, the volume is terribly balanced....

And there's not even an attempt to hide how much of a phone game it is.

I got this as a gift from a friend to play with them, and it's actually quite fun so far.

The game is a board game with RPG mechanics heavily reliant on rock paper scissors in a sort of not-quite-risk-free gambling that can make or break "legs" of the game, since you play the game in chapters where you try and accrue properties similarly to Monopoly. If you do poorly enough, you can remove everyone's properties, force them to start from scratch, you can have random events like losing to a little jerk of a girl in rock-paper-scissors who takes the entirety of your fortune, fight zombies, goblins, sentient clouds, demons, and your friends.

It's supposedly a really long game, too. Each game is supposed to be 20+ hours long, which is impressive, and you can choose to even cooperate.. to a degree.

It is just a port of a wii game, though. The online connectivity is nice, but it is an extremely steep price either way. I'd recommend finding a sale or something as a result. Make sure you have friends and can coordinate saving. It's a bit clunky but still very enjoyable.

Honestly, this game, while it has some moments, has so many failings compared to the first game that it hurts. I could make a simple list of the things I hate and the things I like, and even the things I like are still worse overall. I actually feel ripped off after having liked the first one so much:
The MULTIPLE ROOMS OF DEVIANTART GRADE Patreon...? submissions? Whatever the hell, there's multiple rooms of it and it's actually painful, especially when you shove plot important garbage into something I don't care to look at
The artstyle is woefully inconsistent and makes most things feel like crap, and the visual effects in the battles mean I can't marathon the game like I did the first one...
The battles are much more difficult by abusing visual effects so 99% of the time you're unable to tell where you are, or it'll do a funny of "Haha you don't recover HP here" and, if you're not great, you end up relying on a very specific method to survive that fails to work because everyone hits you so hard anyways. I'm actually surprised I have gotten this far in the game because it's felt so bad I've actually considered harm from how severely frustrating it has been. Worse yet, you HAVE to play badly in order to access a glut of content! Like, who the hell are you NOT punishing?
The music is... okay. I barely register it because it gets recycled so often, even.
Back on the topic of inclusion, OH BOY I LIKE THESE STREAMERS EVERYWHERE. (I don't, sit on a cactus.)
The humour is somehow so dumbed down that I've not enjoyed a single moment of it, and in some cases it has only served to worsen my opinion further.

Oh, and the bugs that stuck me until I... left my PC and came back to it? If I showed you my stats, you'd see there's zero reasons for it to run like that and the game is seriously undercooked. I shouldn't be lagging out in the middle of things and dropping combos because the game felt like it, but only in that battle consistently. And I can't name them because it's spoilers.

I've still yet to complete the game, and I intend to because I sank so much time into it, but from what I've heard, even the ending is disappointing. I'm not holding my breath.
EDIT: Now that I've finished the game, I'm actually angry. There was YET ANOTHER submission room and the ending I got was so full of absolutely terrible humour I'm regretting the times of my life that led to me playing this waste.

Actually pretty fun for a game that has Counter-Strikey stuff.

The game's upsides include half decent character design, few performance oddities, quick-to-pick up gameplay, and enjoyable gamemodes.

The games downsides include no real incentive to grind for F2Pers, the money conversion is rather bad on top of that compared to even Valve's own IPs, ranked mode is suffering, and the anti-cheat is too finicky, detecting my discord being selected to a moderator chat, as mods, as I MUST be hacking the game because of the task name. Which is kind of lazy and also prevents me from stopping the 3AM slapfights between people in a chat.

Lots of potential, still lots of fun. I actually would recommend this despite the quirks.

I got this as an aid to six point tracking to see how it works. It's actually really nice as an aid to VRChat, and it even helped with issues I didn't think it would, like my right controller. I don't know how, but it does.

I recommend reading the documentation immediately on loading it. I would also like to request that the layout of the proxy tracker/real tracker system have a more verbose/textbased way of telling what methods the trackers are using at the time to aid with setup. But the setup is pretty straight forward even then.

You want the trackers you're using to be bound correctly to the bodypart in Steam's menu, and you want the rest to be wavy lines in the little dot. Make sure you set your VRChat measurement to height instead of armspan.

I like that with it, aiding 6 point tracking, my arms and legs feel like they turn at less unnatural angles which is nice. I would like it if I could tell how my tracking was a bit easier, since it has tracking fallback and even then, I'd just personally like to know if it's kicking in.

Overall, still worth it if you use it a lot for VRC alone, even. Would recommend.
