Good lord, it's like a ten year old made a game after watching too many episodes of rick and morty.

The gameplay loop sucks, the environments are uninspired, the humour is woeful and cringeworthy. I am honestly pleased I didn't pay full price for this, it is not good.

It's a modern game that is cutting edge and groundbreaking........if it had been released in 2010. Everything feels so old fashioned and dated. It's a shame because I was so excited to play this. I'm glad I didn't pay full price and got it in a bundle as I would have been so very angry

Of all the games I've played, this is definitely one of them.

It's good, it's fun, it runs nice.

It passes the time

Apart from the janky controls, this is one of the worst looking games I have ever seen.

Character models and environments look worse than games made 10 years ago. And the load times! IT takes about 15 seconds to move from one screen to the next. But who is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here? Them for making it, or me for buying it in a world where there are already thousands of reviews saying how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is?

It's not a bad game per se, it's just not great.

The combat isn't very good, which is understandable since it wants you to avoid going head to head where possible and use the other tools at your disposal. However those other tools aren't really that useful or fun to use. I find myself relying on just calling in a gang hit to dispose of the enemies when stealth and tech just aren't up to the task.

The story is fun, although a little cringeworthy in parts. But truth be told that adds to the charm which ultimately this game relies heavily on when the gameplay is lacking.

I'm essentially playing it out of spite because I've come this far and I would be angry at myself for not following through. It is a step up from the first game though.


One major plus point is the way Josh is written and the way other characters interact with him. His background informs who he is but doesn't define him. That is very well done and shows real research went into this.

TL;DR: It's the Sioux Falls, South Dakota of games.

Couple of hours downloading. Cool intro video, atmosphere, tension. Enter tutorial, shoot some targets. Great!
Enter free roam, move into safe house. Start a mission, get stuck in an infinite loading loop for 20 minutes.
