You don't need to even play half an hour to realise this is one of the most fun co-op games in a while (I'll need to play more to see how much deeper the gameplay goes).

Despite what people say, I really enjoyed Getting Over It for the time I've played it. I don't really see why gamers and streamers rage intensely at it, it might be because I had a good day, but overall it's a fun, enjoyable experience.

Awesome game. Now they have updated the co-op options to include split screen, it's probably perfect,

THIS IS PROBABLY MY ALL-TIME FAVOURITE GAME & THE *** MOST FUN CO-OP GAME EVER MADE ***

I've played around 200 hours on PS4 and completed it about 4 times. HOWEVER, I like playing it for the CO-OP (not for rage quitting after I died fighting a boss for the 30th time). I play games to enjoy myself.

The culture of "doing it alone" grew up around Dark Souls 1 because early-on people could only play it alone and this has kind of stuck but that ISN'T how you're supposed to play Dark Souls games!

You're SUPPOSED TO PLAY CO-OPERATIVELY.

The *** ENTIRE GAME is BALANCED for CO-OP gameplay for a reason!!!! ***

That's why it's so challenging to play alone and so fun to play with 1 or 2 others.

That's why the option is there and why when you do - its the *** MOST FUN CO-OP GAME EVER MADE ***. (IMHO)

The FIRST ITEM you should buy from the Shrine Handmaid at Firelink is the WHITE SIGN SOAP STONE.

One of the first things you should do once you go beyond Firelink Shrine is GET SUMMONED and keep getting summoned. (Draw your summon sign on the ground with the WHITE SIGN SOAP STONE by equipping it to your item slot.)

Not only do you help other players (this the whole point of the game - unless you're a sadist or have nothing better to do - LOL). You also get to discover the lay of the land across each section and you GET TO KEEP ALL THE SOULS YOU GET - *** EVEN IF YOU DIE ***. Helping players through to the next section is the whole point of this game. The more players you help through the game - the more players will be there to help you.

You can level up enough to kill the first boss relatively easy in the first area in a few of hours if you get summoned and make it through to Vordt of the Boreal Valley 4 or 5 times.

The whole point of this game is, as a soul banished to an eerie netherworld, you can inter-dimensionally travel between multiverses to assist other souls to fix their version of the universe. The idea being that if enough can do this across the multiverse then existence will be saved from certain doom. (But you are doomed to carry out this gruelling task for eternity as you just keep going through the game over and over forever.)

It also LOOKS AMAZING, level design and character design is STUNNING and will run perfectly on anything GTX 1060 3GB or above.

10/10

Early Access Review
Looks and sounds beautiful. Great game-play and atmosphere. Random dungeons are great, as was the first boss fight. Haven't tried a turn-based RPG for years so I'm possibly not the best person to ask whether this is better or worse than games similar to this one.

EDIT1: Just completed first mission after completing the tutorial: always rest after combat if its safe. Buy food before you head off. Preferably food that isn't going to go bad and has multiple uses (like a cured sausage). Sleep at the inn until you're invigorated. Only fight one person at a time. Lure them to the edge of a map tile out in the open, usually only one enemy will follow you. Always use your abilities. Always keep hydrated and fed.

Keep tweaking your joystick sensitivities until you find the best setup for you.

Keep practising.

Like Powerdrome on the Atari ST. (That name-drop's for the oldies).

Favourite Level : Treetops in Pro mode - skimming along the ground and treetops is awesome

The Dark Souls of sims.

Love it.

Love the pixels.

Map and inventory system easy to grasp.

Sound fx and atmos.

Mouse and keyboard is better.

It makes me think of System Shock - but in top-down mode.
