40hrs in and I have only scratched the surface of bosses, quests, the map etc. Graphics are insane, main story is meh but is picking up, just so many things to do in this game and the majority of the game seems very polished. The updates they have been rolling out have already been fixing the major gripes of the game at launch. Perfect? No, but this game is good. Honestly reminds me of the feeling I had first getting addicted to New World, but in a single player atmosphere which is awesome. Glad so many people have ignored those just wanting to hate on the game and actually giving the game a shot themselves and realizing its quite good. 8.5/10 for me so far. I have a good feeling I will be putting in a minimum 100hrs on this game before I even consider putting it down

WOW. This game is a masterpiece. I would recommend this to anyone who plays video games at all. I just 100%d the game, one of few I have ever wanted to do so with. This is also the first time I have ever written a review for a game I have played. This game made me emotional, very few games have ever done that. For anyone who loves reading like me, this game felt like reading an amazing book, but with the ability to actually see it and be in that world. I have never been so immersed in a game and story. Wanting to speak with every single NPC and listening through every dialogue sequence.

This game does it all;

The visuals? - 10/10 (I kept stopping to just soak in the beauty of the scenery)
The music? - 11/10 (ive been listening to the soundtrack constantly and at the gym)
The story (voice acting, writing, pacing, mocap etc.) - 10/10 - The story was so compelling, and this might be the most realistic feeling dialogue I have ever experienced, combined with such amazing facial expressions from characters
Perfomance? - 10/10, 50 hours played and not a single crash or bug
Gameplay? - 10/10 - As someone who does not play enough turn based or souls like games, I was at first skeptical, but I have never enjoyed a style of gameplay as much as this one has. The engagement in the fights, the satisfaction of learning a full enemies attack to be able to parry, spending hours scrolling through pictos (buffs) trying to figure out how to best support my characters and make them better, and the satisfaction of killing a tough boss-MAN was this game fun. This gameplay formula just does everything you would want to make it enjoyable to play

This game was truly made with so much love and attention. The kind of game that you can tell the devs spent hours, days, weeks, months, years, perfecting every single bit of the experience. SOOOO polished and fluid. THIS is the kind of game that these large companies should be producing but lack the awareness of the people who buy their games. This game just does almost everything right. I sit here having finished it with nothing but amazing memories, emotions and connections I didn't know I needed, and almost with a sadness that I may not ever get to experience something as special as this game was.

If you are on the fence about getting this game, DO IT. You will not regret it. This game deserves all the praise, I hope it wins GOTY for 2025, and honestly might just be my favorite game of all time. To the development team at Sandfall Interactive I just want to say thank you. Thank you from someone who has become an adult and felt a disconnect from many current games, longing for that feeling from playing games as a kid that I once felt. This game did that for me. I cannot wait to see what Sandfall's next project will be. You have my support, and also PLEASE make a DLC for this game. I'd buy the game a second time just to experience more from this world.
