Technical Issues:

My rig is as follows: EVGA GTX 770 2GB Supercooled ACX, 24 GB RAM, i7 4770k, 500GB SSD.

After my intial 3-4 hours of gameplay, I got into a scuffle with a floaty droid over me shooting a door and once I finished destroying the door, the framerate dropped down to about 10 FPS, from about 60 FPS immediately prior, and the gameplay runs at about 1/3 speed. Ever since, I've somehow been able to trigger the same issue within about an hour of gameplay. It makes the game mostly unplayable, forcing me to quit, but not after very slowly making it to some save point, so I don't lose my progress.

On the topic of losing progress, for some reason the game doesn't retain any of my waypoints (e.g. downed ships found at a transmission tower) in between play sessions, even though I save the game before I exit. Each time I start playing, I have to go rediscover those waypoints. Many times, it will simply send me back to my downed ship location, or the location of a ship I've already discovered.

Other features of the game are nonexistent, namely planetary rotation (apparently removed in the day-0 patch), multiplayer encounters, and large-scale space combat. This game feels incredibly different from the game that we've heard about for the last few years.

Feature loss aside, the tecnical issue with the game make it unplayable for any reasonabel stretch of time. The slow-motion/garbage framerate and progress erasure make it insanely difficult to make any forward progress in the game.
