So I’ve seen a lot of people calling Kris “they/them” and insisting they’re non-binary. But here’s a thought: Deltarune is made by Toby Fox, an American developer. And in the US, there are official laws and policies that recognize only two genders — male and female.
If the game doesn’t explicitly state Kris’s gender, and the country of origin only legally acknowledges two, isn’t it a stretch to claim Kris is non-binary?
Not trying to start a war here — just wondering if we’re projecting modern identity politics onto a character who might not have been written that way.
