really fun

As a video game, it's so-so. It has some janky mechanics that can be frustrating.

As an experience, however, it's really good - photorealistic visuals, breathtaking landscapes, mesmerizing atmosphere. There are 10 distinctly unique locations with additional variants to unlock. Every single one of them looks truly stunning.

Also, if someone does not own a camera, I'd say this game explains decently well how a camera works and what impact different settings have on a photograph.

Zombies

My young self, playing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 20 years ago, would have never even dreamed of playing something like Hogwarts Legacy one day. To be able to explore the entire castle and vast, beautiful regions around it, including the Forbidden Forest, is just incredible.

Exploration is fun, both in and outside the castle, especially on the broom. The main story is engaging, the side quests are interesting. Combat is satisfying, secrets always a lovely surprise to discover.

There's so much to do that it's borderline impossible for this game to be boring.

It has a photo mode, too - not the most advanced one in the world, but a nice addition nonetheless.
