I didn't play for long but I encountered an unacceptable number of bugs or weird confusing things like reserved cards going missing and somehow missing a turn. I've played the physical game enough to know it inside out. A quick check on the forums shows the game has a significant number of bugs, integer overflows and problems that you would associate with a low quality developer or a cronic lack of QA.

As fun as it is to play this game when it works I'm not willing to accept a large chance of game outcomes being determined by bugs.

I love the base game and obviously a huge amount of effort has been put into new DLC however it contains some massive gameplay breaking, time wasting bugs, At the top of the list is one which means its possible to play the game without realising that anything has gone wrong and end up in a situation where the games mechanics break down putting you into a slow downward spiral. Fortunately I didn't experience this on my first run but it ruined my next playthrough on hard difficulty and wasted about 7 horus of my life. Even knowing the workaround now I won't try a extreme difficulty run as said workaround requires the game being more difficult than it should be. Once the developers fix this and other crash issues I will enthusiastically recommend this DLC.

Grab three friends and fight your way together through countless custom draw levels, competing for loot, searching for cute hidden animals, upgrade your stats, level up your magic, fight ninja pirates on the high seas, eat sandwiches that make you huge, gate crash a wedding, fight a giant sock puppet, fight your way to the end of the story and then survey the wreakage of your journey.

Thanks so much for putting this on the Vive, it was one of my favourite DK1 experiences. I hope you continue to making them, I would part with money for more.

Not finised yet but I've sunk a good 9 hours into the single player and its fantastic.

Its exactly what a reboot of a old game should be, takes all the content of the origial game and updates it and the gameplay to make sense within a modern video game without slavishly copying something else or losing the spirit of the original game. This feels like Doom on fast forward. Total choas yet you know exactly what you are trying to do at any point or you are dead.

This game is fast, you cannot stand still, or snipe from cover, the game forces you to keep moving, adapt as new monsters they enter the fight, balance when and how you use your pickups and which ammo you save and use. Even the custom kills which I thought would be annoying feed into the gameplay, you have to balance the risk and reward of letting something live longer and possibly recover to boost your health, armour and ammo. You are locked into set areas for each fight which usually I dont like but in this game the areas are so well sculped for combat and the premise for it in the story is actually sound too.

The music, particually in hell is perfect. There is some kind of story going on too though thats not really the point. Upgrades, unlocks, secrets, and apparently multiplayer though I'm happy to pay for just the single player in this game its so good.

An amazing game of choice and consquence, its been a long time since I played a game not having any sense of where its boundards where and what possibilities may or may not be avaliable to you. Be warned though this is a game literally about checking peoples passports, thats techncally what you spend 95% of your time doing. I mean actually checking facts and dates and cross referencing things. Its what you think and feel while you are trying to do that is where the game really happens.

One of the purest games I have ever played. Sometimes less is more and in this case its perfect. Quick play sessions, great music tied to mesmerizing visuals. Play if you liked geometry wars but found it a little slow and time consuming.

Early Access Review
The snapshot of this work in progress game I played was obviously broken and unfinished but already obviously has core gameplay required for something special and frighteningly addictive. I lost sleep over this game. Its gameplay is like a return to the old Theme Hospital genre but without any F2P crap ruining it. The graphics are simple but effective and the setting is really what makes this game stand appart. Mess up the architeture of your prison or make a small mistake at the wrong time and truely terrible things happen.

Recommend waiting until its finished for most people, but if you truely accept the early access spirit theres some clunky fun to be had here.
