Remember when you got stuck on Witcher because it was such a beautiful, fleshed out game and you got stuck on it for hours and hours trying to figure out the mystery behind the world.

And the world is so deep and complete because the studio that made it aren't money grubbing worms.

This is that feeling.
With co-op so you can harass the world with your mates too.

Steep steeeeeeeep learning curve, you don't get help, you learn from getting beaten up and stolen from.

You pretty much make your own story, I went from being beaten up constantly by large groups of bandits to now conducting raids with 20 of my men kitted out completley, my main character can take on just about anyone solo.

There's actually really good mod support too so you can do a quick start with a "God" character to just mess around with or start out from the ground up and slowly grow your squad.

All the characters you recruit don't really add much in terms of dialogue, sometimes they talk to eachother, but as time goes on and you go through more and more you connect with them, even if all they are is a name and a character.

This is not by any means an easy game and it will take a lot of work to be able to establish yourself but being able to look back on what you used to be on what you are now is pretty cool, one of those games you can just keep coming back to, keep expanding and evolving, it's an unfogiving world but it makes surviving in it that much better.

Network issues have actually been addressed, was a huge pain dropping out in the middle of a fight, now I haven't had a single issue.

I personally use a controller as I always have with fighting games such as Dark Souls and haven't had many issues with it, the menus are pretty terrible though, you know straight away it's a console port.

I have had an amazing time on this game, lots of fun with the mates I play with, recommend if you have mates to play with.

Also if you're in a battle you can't seem to win and someone with Chinese or Japanese characters joins to help you, ez win.

Great game for anyone who wants a realistic WW2 strategy.
