really good nice and simple but glitchy

I have fond memories of playing this game at the local arcade with my friends. ALSO I recall playing the Sega Master System version of this game - which was AMAZING for the time. The graphics were so much better than the NES version, and if you had the multi-tap - IT ALLOWED FOR 4 PLAYERS!! This was mind blowing for 1985.

ANYWAY - this 2014 version of Gauntlet really rekindles that feeling of top-down hack'n'slash dungeon crawling.

While you can argue its not accurate to the original Gauntlet (melee attacks etc) it definitely has the right FEEL. The game is just FUN to play. Forget Legends and Dark Legacy. This is the version of Gauntlet to play now.

I do wish there was the ability to rename players, having your Steam username come up on screen 4 times because you are playing couch co-op is annoying and hell.
