This game has a WIDE variety of levels with a HEAVY emphasis on simple, yet rewarding gameplay.

Update after 100% the game - the sheer amount of soul and artistry here is so great!
I'm in love with this game, it reminds me of the best GBA games I've played, and everyhting - from the special levels to exiting one-of-a-kind bonus level, to the exploration and so so much falvour to this - I LOVE IT.

Sweet game with nice vibe, short but nice

A VERY unique experience that never feels stale or stretched out. Insanenly good use of the split-screen mechanics and a lot of unique ideas. A very easy reccomendation to play with your friends!

Despite me ignoring this game for a long time because of its artstyle that I don't really like, the game itself is really good, and the DLC makes it so very worth it.

It's a solid recommendation if you liked Binding of Isaac and base building!

I just finished it, and I'm very disappointed

I expected it to circle back to Silent Hill in some way, but it never did, and that's ok, but it also become less and less Silent-Hill-esque ad time goes on. The second part of the game is a massive SLOG to get through, and you're forced to fight the same 3-4 enemies over and over and over again where it becomes really dull and boring, the shrine sections become more and more maze-like with little to no challege, apart from the tedium of getting through it.

And the story never makes up for it -its all over the place and while it felt more abstract and interesting in first part - in the second part they feel like they have to chew it all up for you to the point where the main character yells what is actually happening at the bosses. I have no idea why would you invest a lot into subtle worldbuilding and then just spit it all out like that. It's like some executives looked at it and went "well that's way too complex for our retarded audience, make it easier to understand for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"

It's like if James would attack the Pyramid Head yelling "I KNOW I KILLED MY WIFE LEAVE ME ALONE, I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOU!!!"

And whatever atmosphere it builds up all goes out of the window through repetition. There's 0 variation or interesting locations, once you've seen the town and the shrine you've seen it all.

So, I don't recommend playing it. It's a letdown.

A huge improvement over the first game, this one was very, VERY engaging for me.
The writing improved considerably, and so did the gameplays, and, I can not state this enough - level design.
The planets all feel unique and interesting this time around, and the factions are pretty cool.

The gunplay leaves little to be desired, yet I wish the quirky guns were a bit more useful.
The game look stunning too. A few FPS dips in the visually heaviest areas it worked pretty well. I'm looking forward for more Outer Worlds stuff now.

Great characters, engaging story and, I can not stress this enough, you can disable QTEs to just relax.
I loved it!

It adds a lot to the game, much more than just one area. The new plotline is very well integrated into the base game and I loved all the new gigs. Can recommend
