Just finished the third case, I picked up the full pack of the developers games and after poking at the previous ones, I think this one is where they finally cracked what they were going for.

I wasn't fully engaged but once I cracked the trick of the third case, I'm confident in saying that this game definitely has the deduction sauce.

There's still some UI weirdness, it's very easy to get lost in a lot of documents just flooding your view and getting in the way, and I needed to fiddle with the proton settings to get it to work on linux (Latest GE-Proton works perfectly) but I'm looking forward to playing through the rest of this. Will come back once I finish it up.

Short, not quite sweet? There's definitely something there, but persistent UI weirdness, the story being ok at best and lack of options/settings (Even a quit button on the main menu) soured it for me.

Plus, as other reviews mention, it's a bit questionable to have a plot that's "Oh my god the left wing are rigging elections and the conspiracy theories are correct!" in this day and age. I did enjoy the reliance on having to go outside the game to find information, but all in all, I think there are better games in this puzzle style.

If you have an hour to kill and £1 burning a hole in your pocket, go for it, but you might be better off getting a pastry with that money instead.

Absolute belter. Intended to sit down and poke at it for a little bit, ended up not stopping until it was done.

Weaves an incredible alternate history, and putting everything together was an absolute joy.

Fun and cute, not super long but good fun while it's there.

Was unable to actually get the game to boot, as Ubisoft connect couldn't get the CD Key. after an hour and a half of troubleshooting, I've gone to find something that doesn't run terrible Ubisoft DRM.

I've had this disaster lion himbo for five minutes and if anything happens to him i'll burn mars to the ground.

If you enjoyed the gameplay of Wilmot's Warehouse but wanted something low stress, congratulations, they made a game just for you!

I keep gasping as I realise that a puzzle piece is actually for a completely different puzzle, or that the two parts I've been assembling across the room from each other fit together, it's delightful.

ALSO it works flawlessly on steam deck! It's a great way to play it.

Good story, good gameplay, pushing live games forward as a concept.

Gotta frisk this person, hmmmm.... 5 bricks, 2 pairs of scissors, a briefcase, lets not check whats in there.... Seems ok.
