One of the best PvP games available, original, and addicting. Great art. And improving with every patch.

It's a perfect blend between a chill and competitive feeling. Because it's super strategic and every decision matters, but there's no time pressure, and you can pause at anytime for as long as you want.

The expansion characters are fun and nice but not needed when you start playing. Each game you only use on character, it's not the case that you'll have any competitive disadvantage for not having all characters. But if/after you spend hundred with base characters you'll want to try the others, and it's great that we have that option to add variety.

My favorite game of the last years.

Note: I play since the beta on the tempo launcher so I have much more hours playing than it shows here on steam. And I'm aware of the bumpy road we had until we reached this price model.

This is one of the best and more addicting arcade games ever. And I have to say, one of my favorites ever, which is a lot for such simple and humble game.

Controls, and physics are simple and intuitive. The game is changelling enough, very skillful, and one of these games that quickly put you in "in the flow".

It's the best coffee rogueLite you can find.

It is the definition of a game keeping only the essentials, and there's no superfluous mechanics or events. Goes straight for the fun part.

If I have to find downsides, I just wish the power ups were a bit more diversified, and more balanced. (there are some powers you don't ever want to pick). Also wish there were more areas with new enemies. and have few more final bosses(now it's always the same) to add variety.

But this downsides are not really what the game is about. And at what it is about, it is excellent. Please do Downwell 2 devs.
