Everything that solicits any kind of imagination is going to have a rolling, emotionally charged soundtrack to accompany it. This has been a part of every entertainment medium outside of books and comic books since forever. I can't get over it.

And the game has plenty of innovations that would have it rise above the standard Metroidvania. The fluid motion you have from about the quarter way point is so fluid that it reminds me more of Ecco the dolphin than it does of a Metroidvania, per se.
