The game is a typical NFS game. The only thing that really stood out to me was the music. You get only one genre and the percussion in every song sounds like a trash can. It works on Steam Deck, though.

I haven't written many reviews, but I had to with this one.

I first want to start off with the issues many have stated regarding the stability of the game. I received this game with an Intel 10700k. Before I received the CPU, I installed the game on my old machine (few generations older than 10). While I was able to play the game in spurts, it eventually would crash, but it's a good game, so it didn't bother me too much. Once the new CPU arrived and was installed, no more crashing.

On to the game. Bare with this tangent, but remember The Division? It was an alright game, but I always had a hard time wrapping my head around shooting the same guy with multiple magazines. This game is in many ways like The Division, but it makes much more sense. The fighting appears arcade-like at first, but once you get down the parries, counters, and gain fight ability skills, you feel like a powerful super hero. You start off playing Kamala, and she seems so pathetic at first, and it kind of had me worried, I felt like I didn't want to spend too much time as her, but after I spent time doing missions and story mode with her, she really came around and ended up being one of my favorites.

As far as the difficulty, it CAN get difficult if you're under-leveled for certain missions. I have yet to play the multiplayer portion of the game, so maybe the friendly AI was holding back, but there were plenty of times I had to play an area over 6+ times. It gives you a sense of absolute frustration, but when you finally beat it, it feels so good. At no time did it feel like the enemies were cheesing me, nor did it feel like I had to cheese to progress. I simply wasn't perfect dodging and finding the correct time to strike.

There are LOTS of cut scenes in this game, and they're all well done. I really wish they could have used the movie star's faces for The Avengers, but the models they used all look the part and were great.

Overall, the game was and is a blast. I had no intention buying this game before I got my CPU, but I'm glad it came with it, and if dlc comes out, I'm sure I'll grab it.

Bought this game during a gameplay drought.
I stumbled upon it and thought, "Hey, muddin' game."
The game is visually satisfying.

Here's how the game works:
Get 'X' amount of logs to the objective. You have 5 maps to pick from (they recently just added one). I have a choice of a Jeep or a rear wheeled drive pick up truck. The jeep can carry a small amount of repair points known as a trunk, and the truck can carry logs a small amount of logs (not enough for one trip). I take the jeep and start muddin' my way through the terrain. The map is blocked by 'fog of war' and can be unlocked by driving up to fog unlocks, which will reveal portions of the map. From here you can see other trucks spread thoughout the map that can be unlocked by driving up to them. Bigger trucks. Bohemoths that can traverse the thickest of mud. You find one and unlock it, but the engine wont start because it's too damaged. This is where you would use the trunk from the jeep and apply it to the new rig, but it won't fix the whole thing, only patch it. So know I have to limp this thing back to start, which will always be a garage. From here it will automatically fuel and repair your rigs. Depending on the rig, you can change what you haul, from an empty fuel cistern that can be filled at a gas station on the map, to a garage trailer that can be placed on a garage point, or a long log trailer that takes the maximum amount of logs to the objective. You see, the objective is easy, gathering the resources to complete the objective is where the gameplay is at.

Recently the devs have started working on this game again, which is AWESOME! This game has soooo much potential. This is one of those games I like to come back to with my friends and mess around. It kinda reminds me of Top Gear.

I consider this much more fun that Dirt 3 Buy it if you have a fancy pants steering wheel!

I hate this game... I'm pretty sure I bought this at one time...
