Brilliant top-down racer. This is the most fun I've had with this type of racing game since probably Super Cars I and II. The physics, handling and feel of the cars is basically perfect. It's weighty, drifty and arcadey in all the right ways. Challenging, but you feel like you're in control, so you're aware that there's nobody else to blame for mistakes than yourself.

There's still room for improvement though. My wishlist includes more variety in track designs, environment, cars, weather and single player game modes. My biggest gripe with the game though is that it sometimes feels like you're waiting around too much. Loading times seem sluggish, and you sometimes have to wait unnecessarily long after a race or qualifying session is over, before you get to move on to more action.

But have no doubt that this game is highly recommended!
