I am going to divide this review in diferent parts.

Story: 9/10

The story as a whole is amazing. All characters evolve with the story and in reality it is the reason you are going to play the game after all. The only downside it has is the fact that you need to finish the game a few times to "continue" with the story and i didn't really like the fact that to understand the whole lore of the game you pretty much have to search it on youtube wich in my opinion is a bit of a game design flaw.


Gameplay: 8/10

The gameplay is actually very fun, it feels like automata except that it allows you to parry attacks wich was a must in automata and it wasn't aviable. The only downside it has is that there is no guide for the combos in general so the gameplay sort of turns into a "smash the same combo" or a "smash random keys" game. Too bad you play with kanyé for very little time as her gameplay was very fun for me. Just keep in mind that there are some parts in the game where the backstory is explained with only text in the screen and you just keep reading while some songs are played in the background, for some people those parts are a pain, in my case it didn't really bother me much as they are part of the NieR experience.

The music is gorgeous and blends perfectly with every scenario.


PC port reliability: 9/10

Playing with keyboard and mouse was a pain for me but with a controller you feel that the game was originally made for it. I sometimes had a problem wich was whenever i alt+tab the game, the game will drop frames like crazy while the music keeps playing but eventually the game will run like usual.



In conclusion:
The game made me sometimes feel like i was sort of wasting my time (specially when you need to unlock all weapons to get ending C), you can finish it in less than 50 hours, i just took longer, but after getting ending D and playing the last ending, E, it was totally worth it as having to play for all that long really is part of the experience but it could have been easyer to get the endings like in automata where you could select the chapter you want to play to get a specific ending.

A beautiful game worth playing. I will never regret paying to the NieR series.

The game by now looks very nice and cute.

DOOM: eh mira, un arma!! ya sabes que hacer.

69 horas (jajajaj numero gracioso).

Tampoco soy un experto en novelas gráficas, pero puedo decir que esta está muy bien.

Lo mas destacable de esta novela gráfica es que te dan una cantidad de finales diferentes inmensa y cada uno con su argumento y final diferente.
