So for an Early Access game, it's very solid. I really enjoy the horse models and the character artwork and it just creates this cozy atmosphere that I look forward to opening up every morning. I'm an equestrian IRL and I find that the gait animations are fairly accurate-- though sometimes choppy but that's just a trait of an early development game to have kinks like that. The horse colors are a lot of fun and I like that they can overlap in some bizarre but cute ways (I have a blue roan mare who also happens to be an appaloosa with all-white overo that gives her minimal blue spots) that I find very charming.

However, the game has a lot of hiccups that I, fortunately, think will be ironed out in future patches.

One of the most glaring ones being the absolute STATE of the training grind on Legendary horses. When you have one or two horses, training so that the potential meter doesn't deplete too quickly over the coming days is fairly easy but when you get to four or more, the grind gets ridiculous. I feel like the game would benefit from options to speed-train your horses through sending them to outside trainers for x amount of days for a single trait or having exercise riders or some other option that will allow for training to become more streamlined.

That said, I think that RoR is fun and relaxing! I look forward to seeing how it evolves. :3
