Not for me. Maybe this is indeed the best game ever, but I found it slow, boring and clunky. I know realism is supposed to be like this, but it feels like they overdid it on the realism here.

Game is beautiful, so it's good "touch the grass" simulator, but it is one of the most boring 40+ hours I have spent in a videogame.

Avoid if you actually want to have fun playing a vidogame. Buy if you care too much about the graphics and funny ragdoll physics and cool animations.

Don't bother.. If you play the first episode and think it will get better later on, don't get fooled, it only goes downhill from there

9/10

+ Story: Simple, yet very well delivered (cut-scenes, characters, dialogs, etc.)
+ Gameplay: you WILL feel ballistics, recoil and impact. Guns feel very unique. AI is allright.
+ World: Landscapes are amazing. The railroad scenery in between missions is very immersive.
+ Side activities: in-between mission train hub has a ME Normandy vibe, but a bit more Touching and personal.

-Performance: At least on my system I had soma major performance issue.
- АРТЁМ: Main protagonist acts as Gordon Freeman. He doesn't speak in the game (apart from briefings). Breaks immersion, but I guess, this lets other characters deliver uninterrupted stories.

This is not a fully negative review per se!

Game has some good points, but it just feels a bit too clunky for a zoomer like me. I suggest giving it a go on an easy difficulty for story sake to then play Pillars 2, which is much more polished and newbie-friendly experience with full voice acting, amazing world and fun rpg elements.

This one though, its a bit too old school for me :(

Its a fun experience.

I liked the survival mechanics, but I think this game focuses too much on the dungeon exploration which means story progression may be very hard without guides that can navigate you.

Its a fun game, with pretty unique gameplay mechanics and very nice artstyle. I wish they made a sequel!

This game is amazing. The things on the screen add so much to the atmosphere it is hard to describe with words. Each location will be memorable, with its own unique look, theme and emotions it brings. Character's progression kept on my toes all the time. 10/10

I would give it 7/10. It was a mixed bag for me with positives outweighting negatives in the end.

Pros:
- Tombs: most of them are very well done, creative, unique and visually stunning
- Gameplay/parkour: it can be fun, when it works
- Visuals/sound: game looks and sounds very nice
- Effects: in the moments of tension, explosions, fires and other effects bring this game to the next level

Cons:
- Parkour may not be obvious, what looks like a ledge may not be a ledge, what doesn't look like a ledge may be a ledge. Also parkour may be pretty frustrating due to inconsistency and very annoying timings and camera angles.
- Storytelling and characters: While I liked gameplay and areas from the side quest and dungeons, I found it hard to care about characters and what is going on in the plot. It feels too generic, apart from Lara's personal stuff.
- Bugs: at least on my system I had some crashes.

Overall: I think this game is worth your money and time, as long as you are willing to forgive it some issues.

I finished this game to get the full story of what happened.

I was not too impressed, and honestly was rushing just to get those credits rolling. It was hard to relate to Chloe, and gameplay-wise, lack of time travel hurts this game more than it helps.

Plus, knowing what is going to happen in the LiS, makes this whole experience feel in vain.

Not my cup of tea.

Craft and what to do to survive feels very unintuitive.

I guess this game is meant for hardcore players or something, so I didn't feel like I was given any time to learn the game basics like in other survival games like: Minecraft, Terraria or Subnautica.
