Actual slop of a game. based purely on luck and P2W. Defending does not exist, and if you dont pay up, you are literally stuck with 55 rateds with horrific stats for the foreseeable future.

For the current price point, this game is awesome. Think of it as a fun tech demo, but also an investment. When this game does get completed, it is going to be the true heir to Dark Messiah. It's also visually absolutely stunning.. Not many better looking games out right now, period. Gameplay is fun - lots of physics based combat. I would say if you have a decent PC, definitely give this a go. I'm not sure what it performs like on lower end hardware, but for me I get around 90 FPS DLAA all Ultra settings at 21:8 3440:1440. Recommend!

The way this game picks up after 8 hours is absolutely insane... I think a good comparison to make would be the Lord of the Rings movies.. if they were a game. it genuinely feels like you get lost in the world when you play this game. It sounds stupid, but if you are have tried the game and are early on, I implore you to keep going until you reach Chapter 3. the game picks up an unbelievable amount and it really grows into itself.

Runs like a dream and is one of the best games I've played in recent times; narratively excellent and definitely a top 3 RE game for me.

Enjoying it a lot so far, in my 4 hours of gameplay.

Whilst people are correct about it being completely wrong for Capcom to charge micro-transactions in a single-player game... It's Capcom we're talking about here. Also, they are not necessary at all; as it seems many people seem to think. You earn everything you can buy from just playing the game normally. Think of them as paid cheats. You don't have to buy anything, but the option is there if you do want to have shortcuts. - Again, whilst I agree with everyone saying that it's pretty unacceptable to have things like micro-transactions in a single-player game, I do want to re-iterate that the game itself is really really good, the developers should be proud of what they've built.

Performance issues are not as bad as you'd think, although there definitely is some sort of bug/issue going on in towns, villages and cities; the FPS tanks are pretty bad. I can run the game decently enough with my 3060Ti and Ryzen 5 5600x, (Around 65 FPS in the open world on 1440p, mixed settings) but as soon as I step foot in the capital... Wow. That FPS tanks to like, 30. I'm sure they'll try and find a fix for this - although I don't know if it will get fixed tbh.

So far though, I am loving this game and can say that I DO recommend it; purely from a gameplay perspective and an experience perspective.
