Best game ever. I want Kim to follow me around everywhere I go and take notes on every interaction I have with any and every person. Best companion in a game ever.

Crazy Taxi tells the sad story of a taxi driver who provides his customers with copious amounts of LSD and adrenaline in order to drive them into oblivion, before leaving them dazed and confused at a Church.

Excellent game, may not be the same as the old Dreamcast version, but certainly worth a whirl.

Early Access Review
It's a fun game, but a bit of balance issues and some broken components hinder the experience. Honestly these aren't points I'll sincerely hold against an early access title, but the issues thus far are there. I'm sure the minor issues I, and likely others. pick up will be dealt with in due course.

One of the most inventive games I've ever come across, a true masterpiece, telling the story of a border agent in a fictional Communist nation Arstotzka, which has recently emerged from a 6-year-long war with neighbour Kolechia. Traveling to the border after being selected in the October Labour Lottery, you bring along your wife, son, mother-in-law and uncle, you must determine who is allowed to enter the nation, with the criteria for entry becoming increasingly long, to the point where entrants almost need a permit to open doors. The story is amazingly immersing, and I just can't stop listening to the endlessly looping menu music. A true masterpiece that demonstrates why indie games are the gateway into the games industry, with ideas like this Lucas Pope and 3909 are definitely going places.

A truly 10/10 experience, and easily one of the best, if not the best, game of 2013.

An interesting indie game that utilises an incredibly intriguing central game mechanic; you are part of an increasingly stupid, or honourable family. Upon death in this wonderful rogue-like RPG the game isn't over, yet far from it, instead you choose one of three children that the recently deceased adventurer produced at some undetermined point before entering Castle Hamson, which each descendant enters for some reason far beyond my understanding, despite the fact countless ancestors have perished upon entry, they continue until you achieve victory.

The castle changes each time you enter, unless you employ the talents of the Architect, who 'locks' it in place, leaving the place just how your ancestors found, minus the loot and with returned monsters, so there are constantly new skeletons, flying-cloaked-fire/ice-spitting-wizard-thingys, walking suits of armour, and floating eyeballs to kill, yielding gold which you use to upgrade your manor that rests right outside the castle, (convenient, huh?) which in turn improves your chances of defeating endless foes on your way to the four minor bosses, and I'm assuming the one big boss (haven't faced it just yet). What makes the integral mechanic of this game even better is the way in which each child is different; each is one of a different class group, has different traits, like dyslexia or vertigo, and has a different spell. For instance, one of my more interesting characters was a bearded lady who was a lover of the ladies (literal lesbian description) and suffered from vertigo, and could summon fireballs (how she ever had three children in medieval times is also beyond my comprehension).

The sound for the game is nothing to lose your pants over, yet serves its purpose; setting the mood wonderfully, which is in contrast with the controls, which when used effectively can see the most pathetic character succeed better than any tougher characters, and seem to be a product of great design. The graphics are quite charming, Cellar Door takes great advantage of its' resources, by creating charming effects in line with the traits characters experience.

Overall I'd give the game a 9/10. Everything feels great when you get into it, yet a few minor problems with the overall vibe of the game just irk that last point from my score. Definitely buy.

At this point in time, this is my second favourite game, of all time. This game is nigh upon the perfection of turn-based strategy, beautifully constructed, this will completely envelop your time, should you enjoy the game, with I find highly likely. Thus far I've been unable to amount many hours, but I can assure you, that will change. The expansion packs for the game add massive amounts of content, that only serve to make this already magnificent game better. Recreating history reaches it's pinnacle in this masterpiece. Buy it. Play it. Live it.

I'd recommend this game any day of the week. It's an immensely enjoyable experience that is eating any spare time I happen to have, which I am just fine with. In this game you begin your own games company back in the days of the Govodore 64, and go right through to the days of the mBox Next and the Playsystem 5, witnessing the turmolt of certain flop consoles through the years, something I laughed maniacally at as my company made miiiiiillions.

The fun of making your own video game company, developing your own games and eventually consoles is brilliant, and I feel it has only gotten better as the game has gone on.

Sadly some parts of the game can be a bit off balanced (MMOs and certain game combinations), but that doesn't detract from the overall experience, and for $9.99 off sale it's a steal. If you liked other Tycoon games you'll love this, and even if you didn't, but love video games (Which is probably why you're on Steam) and want to relive the Gaming Industries history, you're set.

If this was Metacritic I'd give it a 9/10, but we're on Steam, so I'll give it a Recommend out of 10 instead.
