(Full disclosure: While my playtime on Steam is low, I recently finished the remaster on PS5.) As someone who missed this game when it originally released, I was blown away by how well it holds up. The game features truly inventive mechanics and a tight, compelling story full of homages to classic horror, including the works of David Lynch and Stephen King. I can finally see why so many people have been clamoring for a sequel for so long. I highly recommend this to any survival horror aficionados who are looking for a unique, story-driven experience in the genre.
