I queue mm with my buddy who hasn't played CS in ages only to get matched against the one and only "gideon^". Never heard of him? Neither had I until I got matched against him. I really didn't think anything of him until around round 20 when he called me a "open ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥", which surprised me since I wouldn't really have expected some random mm trash can to even have a concept of league. Naturally I looked up his mm name on ESEA and found that his in game name and listed profile name perfectly matched that of his steam profile (thanks for making it easy or I would've never gotten to make this post <3).
