Now that 1.0 is finally here, I can confidently say that Palworld has become one of my favorite games in years.

I'm generally not a fan of survival games. Most of them lose me pretty quickly, but Palworld somehow manages to capture something that a lot of modern games are missing: personality. It has this unmistakable feeling of, "Here are the tools... now go have fun." It encourages experimentation instead of constantly telling you the "right" way to play.
Is it perfect? Absolutely not. There are bugs, odd physics, and plenty of jank. But it's the kind of jank that reminds me of games like Skyrim or Fallout—the sort that often creates hilarious, memorable moments instead of just frustration. As long as we're not talking about game-breaking issues, a lot of those rough edges actually add to the charm.
With the 1.0 release, the game feels more complete than ever. There's a ton of new content, improvements across the board, and it genuinely feels like the developers have continued building on a game they clearly care about rather than simply chasing trends.

If you enjoy survival games, creature collecting, automation, exploration, base building, or even if you normally don't enjoy survival games like me, I think Palworld is worth your time.

I'm excited to continue to explore everything 1.0 has added, and I sincerely hope this is just the beginning. I'd happily support future DLC with new regions, Pals, and adventures.
Sometimes games are more than the sum of their mechanics. They have a certain soul that keeps you coming back.

Palworld has that soul.

I'm not sure why this game gets so much hate. It feels like a Dead Rising game to me. It is really fun, absurd being in the Zero costume during cutscenes, and they sure do come up with interesting ways to kill zambos! Overall, it's a whole lot of fun and worth it. Maybe not full price though, this has been out for almost 10 years now. Wait for a good sale!

Early Access Review
This game Really needs First person view. I like the idea of the starcraft-like top view, but it needs a first person camera angle as well. The over the shoulder 3rd person just doesn't work so well. I'm a big fan of Orion Prelude and i'm hoping this game will only get better with time.

Extremely fun to play! I was completely sold after playng the car chase map. I could (and have) play that one over and over again for hours! There isn't much as satisfying as blowing up a car that has 4 members of the oppsing team with a nade that explodes right as they drive over it.
