Nice low-poly horror. Dive in if that sounds good. Don't spoil yourself and read reviews or anything, just go in.

I can't quite put my finger on why this is good. It might just be me - a great game at a good time. But seeing the universal praise this game has received, clearly it's not just me.

This game certainly isn't for everyone. It's just rolling dice, thinking about where to put your dice, then reading some story and continuing. In fact, the game feels under-budget. The only art assets in the entire game are the 3D station, one or two bits of art per character (not even different clothes or emotions for each character) and the visual/UX design. There's not even backgrounds for your interactions, the story literally just tells you the settings and environments you're in, with you seeing some part of the 3D station as the background.

If the gameplay and the art is neither very good, why is this game good? The music is fine too, but not amazing. The writing too, since the most engaging part of the game is just reading, is good but not great. I still can't put my finger on why this game is great. It's probably the combination of all these components. The presentation of the station in it's stripped-back form. The story is brisk and doesn't go on for ages. The art and assets are bare-bones, giving you an idea but leaving the rest to imagination. Most importantly, the way everything is portrayed feels natural and realistic.

Narratively there is no "grand story". You, the main character, enter the story with a minimal introduction. While you find out a little more on your journey, it's not really more than what you started with. The story threads you start, the choices you make -- all of them are wrapped in a realistic smallness and uncertainty. You have many tasks to attend to, for many differing reasons, and with all unrelated outcomes: is it right to be helping out this person? Are you being selfish or selfless? Will this lead to a better or worse outcome? These tasks we partake in, and decisions we make in both the game and in real life. I think that's what makes this game the breakout gem that it is.

Or I might be wrong. All I know is that... it's good, but not for everyone.

Little boring in the middle but kinda a banging indie RPG. If you like it within the first 20 mins it'll only get better.

Free rhythm game with THIS much visual polish? Instant play.

Games a bit unoptimised and beatmaps could be a little better mapped, but otherwise a very good game! Looking forward to new episodes and the eventual main game release!

Nice game overall. A little rough around the edges but worth the asking price, especially if on discount.

Puzzles and mechanics could have been more developed, but ultimately not a bad use of 2-3 hours. Story was a little cheesy at times but turned out alright.

Compared to Manifold Garden, which came out at about the same time on steam, this game is just a worse puzzle game with a touch more story. I would prefer the puzzles to be better and the story didn't really reach me. Great concept though.

Great puzzle and exploration game. The game looks absolutely fantastic and the puzzles are well balanced, with just the right level of difficulty in my opinion.

This is just like Portal except the humour is replaced with damn good visuals and the puzzles are a little bit more trippy.

Really strange game. This is the game I would use to prove that games can be artwork - but not many people like standing in a museum staring at paintings, which is what this game often feels like. In fact, not just normal paintings that actually make sense, this game is like being in a modern art museum where half the paintings are those weird abstract art paintings that don't resemble anything and don't make sense when you look at them.

What you're actually doing when you play this game is mostly walking around trying to find where the heck the game wants you to go, with a few abstract puzzles and parkour courses scattered around. The game can be extremely disorientating sometimes, with blurred vision, extreme darkness and also strobe flashes of light.

Still though, there is a odd niceness about this game despite it's strangeness and unintuitiveness (I guess modern art is also very unintuitive). Just head to the community page for this game and look at the screenshots people take. Moments in this game are stunning and 100% unique, and as a whole this game is probably worth your 4-5 hours of playtime. Just be warned that it never holds your hand, and it also doesn't help you in figure out where you're meant to go, who you are, where you are or what you're really doing. If I was to improve this game, I would make it clearer to the player that they're on the right path. There's probably a "story" here somewhere, but it's mostly something you'll make up or assume as your going along. It never speaks to you, and only shows you a few words through the whole game.

Activated the product from China region and got a Russian version. Ubisoft support wouldn't help.

Where do I start? Yes this game was fun. It engaged me throughout the whole experience and gave me a refresher on what the horror genre could do. But I must confess there is a sense of nostalgia and novelty to the aesthetic and feel of this game that makes it much more enjoyable, similar to many indie games. It delivered on it's promise on the Steam storefront, and for the very low rpice of absolutely free, gave me what I wanted.

The question then is then, without the question of money, is this game worth your time? If you are interested with what you can see on the storefront, then its a very likely yes. The few hours that you will need to play through this game once are worth it. It reflects well on it's promise and reflects our inner nature, as players and as humans well also. I could argue, that even though I did not play this game in order to avoid something else, If you are planning to play this game to avoid doing something else, then it's probably sill wroth it. This game is, in my opinion, more engaging and enduring that whatever you were planning to do with a few hours of time.

TL;DR Play the game. It's great.
