I have not previously played high-risk, high-reward extraction shooters such as Escape from Tarkov, though I do have experience with titles like The Division 1 and 2. At first, it took some adjustment to accept the concept of losing all progress upon death; however, that mechanic undeniably introduces a heightened sense of tension and excitement during each raid. Admittedly, I often felt frustrated when eliminated by seemingly unfair circumstances or by opponents camping at extraction points.

After investing more than 100 hours into the game, I have come to recognize that these scenarios are an inherent part of the experience. By adopting a mindset of acceptance, I now find myself enjoying the game far more—particularly when pursuing blueprints and striving to acquire higher-tier weapons and equipment.

Mainly played Diablo series for years. While I do still do enjoy playing Diablo 3 & 4 its gotten pretty stale. Never experienced playing the first POE but decided to try out POE2 early access. So far enjoying it. The difficulty level is much higher which has given the game more of a sense of accomplishment. Still new to understanding skill tries and endgame but overall liking what ive palyed so far.

One of the few FPS's that kept me interested enough to play through the entire campaign and DLC's (as well as most of the side missions).

Well worth it.
