I love a good point and click, and this is a very good point and click! Great story, interesting characters, not too easy but not super hard. Enjoyed it a lot.

It wasn't terrible but I was a bit disappointed. It didn't really have puzzles, just clicking and using inventory items on things. I wanted more of a challenge - even the couple of safe combinations were basically just handed to you. Was quite slow moving in places. The story was somewhat interesting but a lot of things weren't explained very well and the ending was pretty lacklustre.

I purchased this game through the Shadow Tor store (so have played for longer than is indicated here). It has a really spooky atmosphere. No jump scares, but the sounds and graphics are enough to get me suitably on edge. The story behind the hauntings is great - I'm really interested to find out more about what happened in the house's past. Enjoying the feeling of working in a team with the other ghost hunters too (just to clarify, these are characters in the game). There seems to be a bit of a backstory there too which adds more depth.

The puzzles are challenging (some are quite hard) but make sense. Some more simple puzzles are thrown in too so you aren't always straining your brain. The ghost hunting part of the game is really fun - you have to use various tools to detect activity and it's pretty exciting when you find something!

If you enjoyed the other Dark Fall games, or any of the games these guys have made, definitely give this one a go. I'd also recommend it to general adventure gamers, especially if you liked classics like The 7th Guest and Phantasmagoria. It's a great spooky puzzling point-and-click time.
