I don't understand the brutal rating behind this game, I would have expected it in the high 80's to low 90's. It's solid. I haven't experienced all the issues people are facing regarding performance.

I know my build can be on the higher end, but it's also not the top level either.
I thought the story was pretty solid, and kept introducing new and exciting monsters. Some good old ones from previous games obviously, but some cool new ones too. I love the system for travel so you don't have to run after the monster for 30 min and can simply auto-ride there, grabbing bugs/herbs on the way.

Overall the gameplay is as solid as monster hunter world, and I thought very highly of that game. Having the game priced at $100 is pretty steep for me, but I do know I'm going to play the heck out of this game. I'm just starting into the high ranks now, so maybe my feelings will change with endgame, but if it's anything like World, then I'm going to enjoy it.

I am not on board with this review bombing practice for games that do not deserve it.

This game is a total blast. They really nailed the "cute", "whacky" and "skill" aspects of the game. There's certainly some hilarious frustration of not being able to punch the adorable little otter in the face when they just drop kicked you! But there's also the hilarity of hearing them scream as they miss and slide into a frozen water bath and getting knocked out!

Hoping to see more game modes for "free for all" added that are a bit objective based, similar to the team based ones, if possible.

Adorable, fair priced, and a blast.

Does not deserve the review bombing. People misunderstanding that they needed to be split-screen. It even says so in the info on the right in steam. "Shared/Split-Screen Co-op".
