After the fantastic predecessor, Naughty Dog have proven that they can maintain this level and even top it in some aspects. In particular, the graphic quality of the vegetation, the animations and the realism of the characters' movements put this game well ahead of its competition.
The story playtime is significantly longer than its predecessor, although the actual narrative is not entirely convincing. It has a few dips from the midway point onwards and ends rather weakly.
However, this is criticism on a high level, as “The Last of Us 2” is still one of the best single-player games of all time.
