I hope you are well on the way to recovery now. I hope we might see you build some Lego one day.

As a historian and U.S. veteran, and as September is upon us, I send regrets for the foolish Operation Market-Garden, the consequent, senseless destruction of Arnhem, and the casualties among Arnhem's citizens.
