I'm really not a fan. It would be better if it were, simply put, more like other games. The time system is a decent idea, but you don't have a sense of how long you should spend in one area. Combat is pressing one button over and over. With a party, more developed story, skill tree, etc., this game could truly blossom- but now, I wouldn't waste the cash. I have a video of one of my playthroughs on my account, if you're interested to see what it actually plays like.

It's a solid game that's hard as hell but actually enjoyable. I have a minute long review of it that covers just about everything you should know about it before you buy! I still full recommend this game.

I'd definitely recommend this game, especially considering it's free. It's something to kill a little bit of time, and manages to be fun while simple and short. The controls are tight, and nothing was overly difficult, or difficult at all once you mastered it. I have a minute long review video if you want to see some gameplay and hear what I think as well!

I bought this game on the Wii and loved it- I was glad to pay again to play it in 3D! I ignored the comments, assuming these were people who were trying to nitpick what they thought was just a cash-grab.

DO NOT BUY THE AFTER YEARS ON STEAM.

To clarify: I love this game! The stories continue, and the tone is carried from the first game. That being said, the Steam port does every thing else very poorly. I never thought I would say that the 2-D characters could look better than real models... but here I am. So much has been cut, making this a shell of a previously great game.

But hey... At least you can walk diagonally!
