If you're trying to play with a friend, good luck. There are two spots where it loads that can just fail to load/connect and you are left on a loading screen forever and have to close the game and try again. And it's not like 10% of the time either, it's about 75% of the time it will just fail to connect to the other player.

With how old this game is, I'd expect the basic multiplayer connection bugs to have been ironed out by now, but nope

If you like programming this is an excellent game for it. The language used is real javascript, and rewards you for learning and using the (browser) debugging tools and reading the game's source code. If you don't want to write code, don't bother with this. Also, while not quite an "idle game" per se, you'll probably want to avoid Bitburner if you hate idle games.

Wow, so performance issues aside (3080ti gets me < 45fps), the actual game is not good. The puzzles are insanely finniky and laid out so you're placing portals in the least intuitive way. It took me a dozen tries to get one of the very first fling maneuvers to work right -- I had to crouch so I go high enough. Last time I checked, Portal wasn't about crouch jumping nonsense.

It's not bad, just seems not finished. The move to 3d is neat, but it feels like they were still figuring things out when they decided to ship the game. Oh, and it ends on a cliffhanger

The game is complete ♥♥♥♥. Just so slow and boring. It looks beautiful...when everything isn't motion-blurred, which is any time you move or look in any direction. Got attacked by an invincible slug thing while still trying to figure out how to cut down a tree. It murdered me and camped my spawn. ...not fun, not worth the money.
