Never thought I'd see a game so dedicated to such an insane premise.

I've bought a lot of survival games in the past 5 or so years, this is without a doubt the best one I've ever played, and I mean ever played. All the tedium of regular survival games is taken out, you can do things at your own pace, sort of like Subnautica, but with more SKAL!

I've seen talk about the art style, in my opinion it matches the gameplay flawlessly, from the first half hour I was enamoured by this game.
I know I've only played a small amount of this game and I have a lot further to go, but if you love survival games then you owe it to yourself to pick this up.

Please, if you like survival games, give this one a try.

Day 1:
My name is Steak, I am a simple man with simple ambitions. After leaving town I set forth with my ultimate plan, to mine copper until I'm rich.
With this goal in Mind I set forth towards Squin. On the way I mined 8 pieces of copper ore, the easiest job ever.
I make it to town and after a racist Shek checks my gear for contraband I am welcomed in. I made a lot of money today! I even bought myself some leather armour to protect myself from any roving bandits.

I set out again and mine 8 more pieces of copper overnight.

Day 2:
On my way back from my second mining expedition I am set up upon by some rather hungry bandits, I wasn't paying attention and by the time I realised what was happening my left leg was broken and I had suffered a severe blow to the head.

"Nothing for it" I thought and began to crawl back towards town.
After crawling for hours I arrive at the gates and Mr Racist Shek wants to search my gear again!
I had hoped he would help me, "go ahead" he said and let me very slowly crawl through the gate.
Now I have to act fast, it takes me 2 hours to reach the bar, "take a look" says the barman as I painfully, slowly make my way to him.
He grunts as I browse his wares, no bandages.

To the next shop! After another hour crossing the street I entered another shop, "let me know if you need anything!" said the Shek at the counter. I approach, slowly losing consciousness. I pass out mere feet from the counter.
"Help me! Please help me!" I thought as the shopkeeper (apparently fine with a dying man passed out in his shop) and everyone passing by ignored me.

10/10 most gripping 2 days of my life

I don't normally leave reviews, but I think I'm becoming obsessed with this game.

I'm playing exclusively in VR and this game is truly transcendent, it's the most beautiful and relaxing VR game I've ever played with perhaps the best sound design I've ever experienced.
Sure it can be a bit of a grind if that's what you want it to be but there's no pressure to go for the best ships in the game, I'm running a type-6 Transporter and have been for a while and it has been great.

Honestly, buy the game if you're even remotely interested in space sims, you won't regret it.

P.S. The community is the best I've ever come across for helping new players

I remember playing this game when I was maybe 10 years old; I adored it. The game holds up remarkably well, obviously the audio quality in the originally recorded VO work is a little dated but it's still the humorous game I've always loved.

A couple of hours of extra content are included in this version, and whilst it does feel a little tacked on it doesn't detract from the enchanting game this has always been.
