Beautiful in every way, made me cry my guts out and then call my mom and grandma to tell them I love them.

I'll be recommending Venba to people every chance I get for a long time.

What a masterpiece.

One of the best games I've ever played, to be quite honest. A really solid, unique Rhythm Game that takes itself exactly the right amount of serious (basically not at all). Lots of room for improvement and seeing your scores go up as you practice without overstaying its welcome, and a really neat cool-down system in-between rounds in the form of the collectible trading cards and various other secrets.

Really big fan of this game, the main gameplay loop is this frantic market phase where you only have a few minutes to complete as many profitable trades as possible, requiring you to keep mental track of various types of organs and how much a contract will pay out so you aren't losing out on money during the trade. There are some additional systems that come into play later on which build upon the initial experience, but that fundamental loop doesn't change that much.

There is a little bit of tension, it feels like, between the market incentivizing you to trade as quick as possible, leading you to skim the paragraphs of text in your request inbox for just the organs they need and how much they're willing to pay, and the narrative and amazing writing all contained in those requests. While I was learning the game I completely missed out on a bunch of questlines and found myself in the middle of several intergalactic conspiracies I had no clue I was taking part in.

I almost feel like that's fine though, it works as a pretty effective mechanical condemnation of market forces causing outcomes without any sense of real morality. Idk. It's interesting stuff.

Really looking forward to playing it more! Also the music and art slap so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard.

Early Access Review
God, this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good.

Even as it stands right now in early access, with the main questline cutting off pretty abruptly just as it's starting to pick up, the world itself is just so enticing and alluring to wander around in and explore. I've never really played a game exactly like Death Trash before; it has all the character and tension of a classic Fallout-esc cRPG, without the combat mechanics that sometimes cause me to zone out when playing those games. In their stead is a set of extremely well implemented, very tight aRPG mechanics which keep the pace of the game flowing perfectly.

I love this game so much already, one of my favorite things I've played in the last few years, and I'm beyond excited to see how this team continues to flesh out this brilliantly conceptualized world. Nothing but love for these devs.

SNKRX is absolutely phenomenal as an innovative fusion of concepts put together in a neat, minimalistic package packed to the brim with maximalist juice and perfect sound design.

The name is a bit of a misnomer, SNKRX isn't really snake, it's more of a general arena swarm game where you PLAY as a snake slithering about, weaving between enemies and the projectiles they shoot at you occasionally.

It takes only as many mechanics as it needs to from Auto Chess games, while leaving the rest behind, and supplants the idle viewing of combat with a real-time arena component where you fight through waves of enemies trying to outlive them. This arena fighting bit of the game has some of its own issues in how it interacts with the strategy components of the game that can cause some mild frustration as you get into SNKRX's endgame (New Game+ 1 through 5), but overall it's fine.

I'm very excited to continue playing this game as it evolves and gets updated in the coming weeks, and everything that already exists is absolutely a massive steal of a deal for only $2.99.
