Come for the Blue-Eyes deck, leave with Ishizu Tearlaments and a fifty ton block of salt.

The game's been out for 11 years and I still only get to level 10 before deciding to make a new character. 10/10

War Thunder is an excellent game that has come far from its old roots and continues to improve with time. The vehicle feel responsive and the use of penetration and model damage puts combat far above their hit scan based competitors. Their f2p model is fair, but the grind can be exhausting. Expect to spend some money for the best experience.

Overall, I'm disappointed. I enjoyed the original Chivalry back in the day and later moved to Mordhau. Mordhau brought innovation and a higher skill ceiling compared to Chivalry's arcadey (but at that time revolutionary) slasher. However Mordhau was ultimately doomed because the difference in skill between those with hundreds of hours of practice and casual/new players made it unenjoyable for the majority of those who bought the game. Torn Banner Studios attempts to win over those more casual players with over-simplification. Held blocks lower the skill ceiling to a pitiful level, armour and character customization lags a generation or two behind most comparable games and even further with regard to Mordhau. The maps are excellent, but sadly unbalanced, and finally auto matchmaking almost always lands you in badly underpopulated servers forcing you to waste time attempting to get into a relatively full server.

In short:
A painfully low skill ceiling, nearly non-existent customization, and a clunky class system combine into a game that's more casual than its competitors, but ultimately feels hollow and outdated. As someone who played Mordhau casually I don't feel that Chivalry 2 has lived up to my, and many others, expectations.

Great trains. Great planes. Great automobiles. Beware friends who build airports.

KOTOR's reputation speaks for itself. A masterfully written story, an easily learned and nearly flawless combat system, and most importantly choice. In the last decade Bioware games have fallen from grace. Buggy, poorly written, and in some cases incomplete games have dirtied their reputation. But to experience such a fall Bioware had to have a height to fall from. Knights of The Old Republic is that height.

OG Battlefront, X-Wing, Jedi Academy, and Republic Commando are all hailed as among the greatest Star Wars games ever produced. Above them, I would argue, stands KOTOR. Not only does it tell a thrilling stories in the Star Wars universe it created an entire new one. KOTOR spawned the later sadly rushed and unfinished KOTOR II, the SWTOR MMO, and dozens of books.

If you're looking to play a Bioware game that hasn't been strangled by the many failures and mistakes that have harmed the studio's reputation then KOTOR is your best choice.

Early Access Review
A great WWII shooter. Less arcadey than games like Battlefield, but more accessible than games like Squad. Be prepared to work and talk with other players.
