At first you will be discouraged and bored and like wtf is going on. As soon as you learn more, you realize that every "wipe" is a different game. You learn new strategies, new ways to build, new ways to counter the enemy, new ways to raid. Before you know it, you realize you have not showered in a week, you have pizza delivery boxes stacking up on your desk, and you have been averaging 4-6 hours of sleep a night.

Bought this sucker back in the day for $15, best money I have ever spent.
