It's 2024 and if you're still on the fence about this game because you've never played a Souls game and you've heard they're hard - I'll give it to you straight.

It is an endeavor, and will take awhile to learn. You will struggle until you learn to use all of the tools that are available to you. But then you'll get it, and there is nothing more rewarding than completely conquering some of the enemies and bosses in this game after they've killed you over and over while you painstakingly learn what you have to do to win.

And then that boss finally dies, and it's a feeling unlike any other.

I've been video games for over 30 years across every console known to man and I've never felt that way in gaming before, ever. It's pure adrenaline and exhilaration.

Put in the time to learn it, it's worth it and incredibly rewarding.

It will frustrate the ♥♥♥♥ out of you, but when you finally kill that weird armored whatever-the-♥♥♥♥ after the 8th ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time, it is so satisfying.
