For anyone looking at this game but hesitant because of the learning curve and the complexity this game has a reputation for: Don't be hesitant. Don't stress about the mods, damage types, massive amounts of warframes/weapons available, etc. Just play the game and try to have fun with it. Use the wiki, reddit, forums, etc as you go. If you have a question, someone else also has had that question in the past and it's been answered. This community is incredibly helpful towards beginner players.

I first played this game many years back and I ended up quitting for the reasons I listed above. I gave it a retry and have done a better job of not stressing about those things and what do you know, I've gotten the hang of it all and it really just ends up being not that complicated.

This game is seriously such a gem. Maybe the best free to play model that exists currently, IMO. The way they make the premium currency tradeable between players makes it so literally everything that is obtainable for purchase is also obtainable for free.

The gameplay, movement, combat, replayability, and massive amount of content are all completely unmatched. The devs of this game very clearly understand how to keep players happy regardless of how much they are gonna spend on the game. It's honestly a masterclass on maintaining a profitable free-to-play game that doesn't limit the player who chooses to pay nothing, other than time. And frankly, I don't even WANT to spend money on frames/weapons, because half of the fun of this game is the process of earning them.

This game is a 10/10 and you're doing yourself a disservice if you let the steep learning curve push you away. You'll get it eventually, just have fun along the way.
