It has potential to be a good game with more development because it is unique. The controls are good enough for a game this simple, but the UI can definitely get some improvements. The ability to pause would be good, but considering how long battles can last you wouldn't need to pause if you don't make mistakes.

Because of its unique gameplay, you actually have to worry about even unit distribution across the front and there are visible consequences for leaving gaps, overextending and other mistakes that might happen. Because of this fact, having reserves is actually necessary if you want to hold out against a push and unit rotation also plays a big role in this game. This type of gameplay is something not many games encourage.

Comparing this to something like HOI4, you need to worry about leaving reserves, you need to worry about rotating units, you might also want to leave some units defending the cities closest to the front so if an unexpected breakthrough happens you don't instantly lose one city. In HOI4 you generally don't need to worry about any of these.

Singleplayer is fine, but multiplayer is just weird if you play with randoms because the servers are filled by mostly kids. Assuming you can find a server that is not Russian, you will be killed just for existing. This one kid called fanis was complaining to a server host about being killed by one guy over and over, later I join the server hosted by fanis and he proceeds to keep killing everyone for no reason, very hypocritical. Ironically, the chaos of multiplayer is what makes it enjoyable.

If there was a neutral opinion, I would choose it.

The reason why I think its bad is because it doesnt have any ranking system for multiplayer, meaning you can and will face people who are level 100+ and you wont stand a chance.
However, there is a bots gamemode in where you can practice and play with bots, and its a fun gamemode.

Its basically free Call of duty, its not perfect but its good enough if you play with bots.
