I was fortunate enough to have an advance key for the game and have played every day. (But to be clear I gain no benefit from writing this review). As the game is early access I am certainly understanding of minor cosmetic issues and as the game evolves I will update my comments accordingly.

The overwhelming majority of my gameplay has been streamed on Twitch / YouTube so can be viewed as my take on the game with a summary of my key thoughts below. I remain hooked on the game and very keen to see how it progresses and evolves over the coming months.

What I love:
- The concept of picking a point on the map and building a farm
- Long term gameplay, this is a game of years and decades
- Global Farmer does not try to be another farming based game and brings it's own flavour

Issues I have encountered:
- On the first few loads I failed to get to the main menu, that resolved after the third load and has been no issue to me since
- The game sometimes appears non responsive but selecting "wait for program to respond" and a minute or so allows it to recover, I have not experienced any incident where the game crashed out during gameplay
- Cosmetic issues with placeholder text / incorrect state appearing visually but gameplay mechanics have been reliable for me.

What I hope is coming next:
- More crops with ability to affect the pH with lime etc.
- More animals, equipment, buildings.
- Ability to buy animal feed products through the marketplace
- Ability to edit fields in the main gameplay
- Ability to edit roads, buildings, fences, and existing fields in the map editor
