I know this is EA, but being a branch off of ARK I expect so much more in the mechanics of the game to work.

1. Expect to die A LOT.
a. Just having it rain can kill you in this game. Going from 65F to -7F with just a little rain.
b. Fortitude doesn't matter in this game. Any amount is negated and invalid 1 to 100.
c. You can die in your house from freezing to death with half a dozen camp fires on in mild zone.
d. WOW... in PVE you could kill another player with a HAMMER.
2. Expect to loose everything every time you die or log out of the game.
a. After dying your corpse WILL phase through the ground, foundations, buildings, etc.
b. Even if you know where you died and see a portion of your corpse, there is no way to get it back.
c. Logging out in the wrong place can cause you to wake up in the middle of a shipyard without a way out.
d. ALL noob areas have a ZERO corpse policy. If you die before you get that raft done, kiss your time goodbye.
e. Log out with nothing on... Other players will intentionally kill your sleeper by agroing animals on your sleeper.
3. Expect half of your valid hits on animals/npcs to not register.
a. You can fill that wolf with arrows, but if you don't get a valid hit marker your aim is worth nothing.
b. Underwater hunting that fish... Think again, you will run out of stamina and drown before all your hits land.
4. Expect your ship to sink!
a. Too much weight will sink a ship QUICK! Espically in noob areas.
b. Don't leave a way onto your ship... Someone can jump on it with a lot of weight and destroy your ship/boat/raft.
c. Anyone can climb onto your boat in PVE causing problems... expect trolls (pirates) ALL THE TIME!
5. Expect your base to be gone when you get back the next day.
a. Land ownership is whacked! There is no fool proof way to secure land. Land claims don't work.
b. If they get your land, they get to destroy everything on it.
c. Other players can take ownership or place a single foundation/shipyard on your land and block your future building.
6. Expect your ship to sink! (again)
a. Ghost ships are real... a real pain in the butt.
b. No ship/boat/raft is safe... I have lost them all to ghost ships multiple times.
c. Ghost ships are not rare. They WILL appear once you venture out of any port and will sink your vessel.
7. You can't play solo.
a. There are not enough engram points and/or respecs so you can make the items needed to progress.
8. At any time if you are taming, anyone can kill the tame in both PVP & PVE.
9. So you think you can just live on a boat once you get it built, think again.
a. Vessels continually decay... esp in the noob zones. Don't log out with a boat in these zones...
b. There's not enough weight capacity on even the largest ships for a Company to live on.
10. Animals can destroy items inside your base eventhough they are outside.
a. Wolves can phase their heads through your stone walls and destroy the items in the base.
b. Other players can agro animals and pull them to sleepers within your base.


I could go on ... and on... and on...
This is EA, but the really... This game needed six more months in the cooker with several alpha phases
before it was released EA. As it's been said before, it is a pirate game... it took my money
and soured me to spend much more time on this game.

Hmm... It is an EA game.
Nice world design. Excellent graphics for the outdoor world and in game crafted elements. Will I be spending much time in this game in it's current state... Probably not. I don't like spending nearly three hours looking for one element in the game that keeps progress at a stand still... FIBER... I literally had hundreds of nails... a pick, hatchet, bullets, food...
But could not build a thing due to lack of finding fiber. How much did I find? Enough to build two foundations, one wall, and a fire starter kit. I walked an entire game day avoiding bears and wolves just wondering the map looking for fiber and found very few.
