Why do I need Uplay for a game that predates it by half a decade? It also has no widescreen support and the community fix for it doesn't work on this version. At least the shadows work, but as it stands I'd recommend the version on ModDB (which has the higher resolution textures and widescreen support from the PS3 release, and no Uplay) over this one.

The Steam version hasn't received any patches, and the PC version of the game is bugged and requires mods to be somewhat playable. All that and it's not even that great a game, all screenshots and most of the video on the store page are from the PS2/Wii/Original Xbox version of the game, which is COMPLETELY different to this version, and arguably better.

Devs came back 20 years after release to give it workshop support, dev commentary, and QoL improvements? Based Volvo.

Skills 2.0 completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the balance of this game. How the hell did a skill that lets you almost trivially easily stack damage to the point where you can 2-shot a bulldozer with one of the weakest weapons in the game pass any level of QA? Do Starbreeze just not play their own game anymore? Not that I can blame them, the state it's in.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend buying unless it's on sale for like a couple bucks, I paid full price for the gold edition of this ♥♥♥♥.
