As of right now I have to say that I do not recommend this game. The game used to be fun. Now it is just a semi open world game on rails about building a small base a very certain way and fighting zombies. Open world is there, but you get punished for wanting to play your way. POIs have to be done a certain way and the devs will place a block with 50,000HP in your path to ensure that you will got he way they want you to go with scripted encounters that make stealth useless. Learn by doing was replaced by a ridiculous book system, that takes most of the fun out of the game. If you want to play this game then you need to get an overhaul mod like Darkness Falls. Base game just isn't it anymore. I am still playing together with my brothers, but man do we really really want V3.0

Requested a refund, game crashes and BSODs too much to be fun.

This is the FF2/4 you know and love with some extra stuff. The concept is great, it played well on the DS, however the PC version has battles capped at 15fps and the overworld at 30fps. This renders the game damn near unplayable and unenjoyable. Fix the FPS caps and I will recommend this to everyone.

TLDR: Only 30 minutes in game this is a first impressions review, so far I find it interesting and would say that if you like survival games and fantasy settings then give it a go, especially if it is on sale as the sale price tends to be a very good deal.


Ok this is a first blush review. I have owned this game for a while now and just got around to trying it after much time spent in ARK and 7 days (ps4 both).

First impressions: Game looks nice for the price, feels smooth on my PC (Ryzen 5 3600, 5700XT, 16gig RAM @3200), There are some goofy animation like the skellies when they die, or do the attack wind up, Dragon on top of the tower spitting frost looked cool as hell, The off hand system is interesting, I like being able to use two tools/weapons, When you jump you soar like a damn eagle, it is insane.

Biggest complaint so far is the menus they seem kind of clunky right now, like how one crafting menu has pictures and shows information and the other is just a list that looks like it could be a dev spawn menu with the creative mode disabled. Unless i have not found it there was no real quick click to inventory, or rather from inventory to chest.


After only about a half hour of play I can tell that I will more than likely try to put time into this game to figure more things out. I think that this game shows potential and there seems to be fairly active DEV community that is working on updates.

I have over 100 hours in Warband, I am aiming to do the same with this one. It is everything I hoped for it, it is Mount and Blade but improved. Better visuals, menus, everything.

It is adorable, relaxing, intense, frustrating, and 100000000% charming

I highly recommend this game to EVERYONE!!! it is brutal fast paced and not too difficult. plus the story is amazing
