I can run Elden RIng better than this. Bad Graphics, Un-weighty combat feeling unsatisfying, lore is boring and generically dark fantasy without reason behind the dark fantasy.

Co-op without needing two copies is cool but they need to do that to make people interested in the first place. It's a trap.

I really just don't vibe with the air combos in this game, it just isn't as fun as mk 11 for me.

Solid 60 FPS no issues on an older gaming PC, maybe just make sure your drivers are updated or don't try to overshoot what your PC can do?

ignore the anti-woke mob. game fun. It's not your classic dragon age but it's a good game in it's own right. Just play it, form your own opinion, and go into it excited for more Thedas.

After completing the game here is a better review. The game is lighter in tone at most times but has moments of very good horror that remind you this is dragon age, once that snowball starts rolling there is also no stopping it. Gameplay is some of the best in teh series, the maps are well constructed and vary, just like DA:O. Honestly 9/10 experience for me.

As a long time silent hill fan, this remake changes things that keep it fresh for those who know the game, but it is still faithful and the intention and impact of every scene hits. It hits harder with the current graphics even, the way Eddie eats, the way James has to reach his hand in disgusting places, the atmosphere of every room, it all hits just right.

Now the camera people have complained about. I was skeptical at first but I find that it is actually better for the horror. In the original game I was never too scared of anything, radio goes off and the limited camera angles would hide monsters, however, since the camera angles were static it kinda helped me at least figure where monsters are. Now with the free camera I am frantically looking around a room for a hidden monster, and have been jump scared by the basic enemies so much more effectively by regular enemy placement then I ever have in any silent hill game.

There are a lot of bad remakes, Sony alone is remaking games that aren't even 10 years old yet. This isn't a bad one, this is what remakes should be.

Cozy without holding your hand, slow in a good way. Hard to find negative things to say, anything you might have a problem with gets resolved by getting further in town level like energy levels, or leveling up the skill trees because one option is "if you end the day with 0 energy you get to start tomorrow with more energy". That just makes the energy issues I had in the early game fun to min max. You also don't snail crawl when out of energy, can still talk to characters and turn in quests. I started doing quests in the early daylight hours of the day and then when out of energy made my rounds saying hi and turning stuff in. It just feels good!

Global chest for crafting, not losing energy on misclicks that hit nothing, being able to shop all hours of the day and see the characters who share your schedule or will let you talk to them as they lay in bed (the kids get put to bed earlier), it feels like this game has an emphasis on QoL that makes the game fun and the fewer character count somehow makes the game feel more lively with how they have so many unique interactions AND don't go to bed so early. The game just breathes charm, fun, and vibes and if it keeps this up later into development it will be equal to or even better than Stardew for me.

The season pass and store are PURE cosmetic, it's not pay to win, and they're constantly updating for the better with two patches that already made the game so much better. It's early access, no need to boohoo balance and cosmetics so early. Especially when this one season pass purchase will let you buy the next 3 for free
