As a huge AEW fan and lover of the N64 style wrestling games, I was incredibly excited about this game. Unfortunately, I would have to call it disappointing. Its a game with a ton of potential but unfortunately its stuck at potential. The game is plagued with bugs ranging from AI that gets stuck to it crashing the SteamDeck to the point of requiring a hard reboot when trying to exit the game. Speaking of the SteamDeck, it runs great but unless you knock the settings down to 45FPS, it will eat through your battery like it was RDR2 and the game doesn't look good enough to justify that kind of power draw. There is a big element of fun with the game but it has so many issues and it feels like half a wrestling game that I just can't recommend it as much as I wish I could. I wish I hadn't got a key from a 3rd party marketplace because I would get a refund.
