Right in the feels.

The Walking Dead is an adventure RPG in the vein of old style point and click games. You are tasked with moving the protagonist through a series of puzzles and decisions through a point and click interface.

You meet a lot of characters who all react to you and your decisions in different ways. Decisions you make can result in anything from someone being angry with you to the direct death of a main character. The characters are all memorable. All of them.

The puzzles are fun and not too difficult to solve. The game is more about the other people and how you treat them and acti infront of them.

You should play this game for the story if nothing else. The story is fantastic and the decisions you make hold weight. It's kind of an interactive choose your own adventure book.

The art style is very enjoyable and the writing is some of the best. I can't talk about the plot too much at the risk of spoiling it but I will say that it is a very satisfying story.

I really enjoyed this series of tales and highly recommend you play them!

Stupid Fun is Stupidly Fun!

Saints Row: The Third is dumb fun. It's a Openworld style RPG played in a 3rd person perspective where you take the role of the leader of the Saints. You play the boss man/woman him/herself as you lead your saints to dominance over the city. You can play through the story campaign or side missions at your own pace and explore all of the city from the get go.The story is fantastic and missions involve, driving, shooting, falling, blowing up, chasing after, escaping from, flying, jumping, dodging and much more. It's varied and very very fun to play.

This is another game I played with my wife. We really really enjoyed it for what it was. The game activities themselves are fun, the scenarios it puts you in are hilarious. The characters are memorable and enjoyable. We both had a lot of fun playing this.

Co-op was very fluid and smooth - with both of us seeing cutscenes as if we were the boss. We were always together and never got lost. Driving around the city was a blast. We would alternate between one of us driving and the other navigating/shooting. Character customization was a particular favorite part of hers, I really enjoyed the feel of combat/movement.

The worst part was when the story had finished. We didnt really feel the need to continue... but there is always the DLC!

This is definitely one of our favorite co-op experiences. I highly recommend it for co-op. Just don't take it too seriously!

I hate these people but love beating zombies.

Dead Island is a First Person RPG set on an island infested with a zombie curse. You spend the game trying to escape the island with 3 other characters. You can craft weapons, drive vehicles, and beat zombies to death with a variety of objects and weapons.

I played Dead Island with my better half. We LOVED the combat and exploring. We HATED the characters. All of them (without exception) are terrible. You spend the game rooting for your character to die. They are some of the worst characters in videogame history. I played the chick with the knives and the daddy issues and she played the big rapper guy (I don't even remember their names).

Combat was great fun and the only thing that kept us going. As you slice up zombies they lose arm, legs and heads. Their skin reacts and falls off where you chop them. The damage is visceral and juicy.

The quests are run of the mill standard quests for RPG games. Go here, grab this, find that, shoot this. We did force ourselves to complete the game as the story does start to drag on and on and on.

As much as it did drag on - it was a good game to play as long as you play with someone else. I cannot image playing this by myself!

Enjoyable Combat in an Open enviroment.

I really didn't gel with the Protagonist or his friends in this game. You play some rich, white, kid in his 20s who is on vacation with his equally cringeworthy friends. On a character level I just couldn't relate. But the game is so good that you ignore that.

Don't get me wrong, there are some fantastic characters in this game. I feel as if a few of their stories were cut short too quickly, as if they ran out of time. But that aside they were still great! You meet a lot of very memorable characters and have the chance to interract with some of the best villans/anti-heroes I have ever faced while playing videogames.

Vaas is right up there with Handsome Jack as one of (if not the) most charasmaticly evil badguys of all time.

The combat is VERY fun. The exploring/open world enviroments are fantastic. The Graphics and great. The story is great in parts and ok in others (a few "wtf?" moments)

I really enjoyed playing this game. It is very much Skyrim with guns. It was very much an enjoyable use of my time.

Fun little time waster.

This enjoyable little game is light on strategy and high on action. It's very quick to complete but I feel you could have a second playthrough on a higher difficulty without being bored.

The goal of the game is to kill the object at the end of the hallway. You do this by spawning guys from your side of the hallway. The enemy spawns guys at his side. The idea is you spawn guys with traits to counter the enemy traits. Once you push back the enemy enough you attack his object.

The game is very simple to play and can be completed in a few hours. It's not too difficult and rarely will you fail a mission. When you either fail or restart a mission you get a new pattern of enemy waves. Winning the rounds earns you currency that you spend on new skills, talents and weapons.
