From the perspective of a Soulsborne veteran who has Soulsborne veteran friends to play with on Discord, this game is absolutely amazing. If you haven't played Elden Ring or played it, but didn't enjoy it, or don't have friends to play with, I don't think you'll have fun with this game.

The game is relatively short, but the amount of detail and polish in this game is actually mind blowing. Never did I think a single time that anything felt incomplete or wasn't done properly. The lighting in this game is also so lifelike that you just sit there mesmerized most of the time. The audio and sound design in this game are very well done as well. Animations are superb, highly realistic with some stylization. All in all, it was just an amazing experience that I highly recommend to anyone out there! And there's a button to meow at anytime, what else can you ask for?

Not a perfect game, but an amazing culmination of everything From Software has ever done so far. Can recommend for both veterans of the genre and people wanting to get into the soulsborne series!

Edit: After scrolling through the reviews, it seems like most of the positive reviews are either paid/fake or just trolls.

I refunded this game live on stream. My friends and I play a lot of horror games on Twitch, and we are generally very generous when it comes to refunding/reviewing games. This game however is the most rushed and unpolished game I have ever played on stream. It's just a blatant rip off of Devour/Pacify, but with more bugs and less content.

The Lunch Lady is not remotely scary, the only "scare" in the game is when your hitboxes collide and her face is instantly pushed onto your screen with a loud jumpscare sound (Which is not "real" horror). The sound design in the game is not polished, as you can hear the lunch lady through floors, and the spatial audio is not actually working correctly (as in you can't actually judge where she is by listening, as the spatial audio is not programmed correctly).

All in all, if you have 1 hour and 3 friends to play the game with, and you don't mind going through a refunding process, then go for it. If not, then don't bother supporting lazy devs who just want a quick buck out of you.

An amazing combination of Dark Souls, Elder Scrolls and Minecraft. I'm a veteran player of all of these genres, but I haven't had this much fun since I was a kid! This game is absolutely worth every single penny!

Definitely the best horror game I've ever played. Using in game VoIP to communicate with each other, while also being spied on and listened to through speech recognition by the ghost is the most amazing, yet terrifying experience me and my friends have had in a very long time. As I'm writing this, the game is less than 1 month old and is still in Early Access, and I actually bought it for me and my wife just randomly because I heard it was good, but I did not think that it was going to be this good even in this early stage. Definitely a must have for anyone remotely interested in horror games!

Nice game

I bought the game a few years ago when it was in alpha and played through some of the acts. It was a pretty rough experience, but the developers seemed pretty serious, so I thought I'd wait a bit and play some more when there had been more updates to it. Coming back to it today, they have now removed the story mode and are apparently planning to add it back later. Also all character customization is now gone and they've announced that they're gonna make customization a microtransaction thing now as if paying for the base game wasn't enough. Definitely do not recommend this game, as it feels like the developers are spending too much time working on something they can't handle. The models look good, but the animations are clunky, gameplay is rough and you generally feel like you're playing a chinese ripoff of Diablo or Path of Exile (Which I both love dearly).
