I wish to hand myself over to you, with strings attached for you to puppeteer, a life in your hands sounds like a life oh so sublime. The way you handle me with such grace, such elegance and glee makes me wonder if my soul was truly made for me. Was I who I said I was, or was I just living a life of false truths, of lies conjured by my surroundings. This horrible feeling or loneliness overcomes me, loneliness amongst people, but im the only person to be around. Am I still a person? The strings that are used to handle me say otherwise. But as I look around, and see a dark and empty room, expanding far beyond what I was willing to explore. The thought of what may jump out scared me in every waking moment. What is there, what will it do, am I safe where I stand, am I safe in the hands of the puppeteer, what happens when this puppeteer gets bored, what will happen to this body then. Will a new one come along, how will they move me, how will i react, how will the creatures, looming in the darkness behave. Only time will tell.
