I got addicted to little tower defense games like this while working the night shift. Now that I'm no longer on night shift, I'm still playing them. Kingdom Rush games have yet to be a disappointment. Good re-playability. Even better if you snag them on sale. What I first bought as a time killer turned into a fun way to relax before bed!

Saved me from immense boredom after having my wisdom teeth removed. Set up a controller and some comfy pillows, and passed the time in between pain killers. Do recommend, especially if on sale.

Fun with friends! Doesn't run poorly on a decent PC. Only encountered one bug in 60 hours of game play, but maybe I'm just lucky. Grab it on sale and its worth it.

Edit: This game is still amazing. Never a dull moment! Buy it!

I adore this game. I've never played a game exactly like this before, but I love survival games, I love base builders, and I dabble in strategy. Watched a streamer play it and knew I had to have it. Have already sunk 100 hours into it. My first few colonies didn't make it to a week. Each time I restarted, I had a different experience. Crazy, hilarious things happening left and right! It can seem overwhelming at first, with so much that can happen, and no hand holding, but just by going slow I got the hang of everything. I've fought off slavers, harvested organs from prisoners, watched as my beloved pet was devoured by a wild animal, and had to arrest a colonist who became fixated with dead bodies..yikes! It's never a dull moment, and the fact that if you ever do get bored, you can mod the crap out if it, makes buying this a no brainer. Well worth the money, so if you see it on sale, grab it!

This is my favorite cooking game on Steam. I can't recommend this developer enough. He constantly updates this game, giving us awesome free content. I love the variety of foods available, and the ability to customize your restaurant. The music is good, the art is good, and the controls are smooth. I can't comment on comparisons between the first Cook Serve Delicious because I haven't played it as much. However, I have had no problems adapting to the controls of this one. This game can get quite hectic and provides a good challenge, however there is a zen mode if you just want to relax and cook up some yummy looking dishes.

After having put 50 hours into this game, I decided it was time to write a review. This is the best survival game I have ever played. It has quickly become one of my favorite games on Steam. The Long Dark is a beautifully eerie game. The artwork is unique, simple, and breathtaking at the same time. The music is amazing, and the ambient sound is the best I have heard in any game I've played. I can lose myself for hours in this game, whether to relax or to delve deep into gaming.

There are several modes to choose from. I have tried them all and managed to survive a single day on the hardest. I find that I am an explorer, and I like to play in between the difficulties. Not too hard, but certainly not easy. The details in this game are getting better and better with each update. I love finding little touches, like lost notes from other survivors, or wondering what the last thoughts of this poor frozen corpse were before he succumbed to the long dark.

I have yet to dive into the story mode, as I still greatly enjoy the survival mode, so I cannot touch base on it yet. But if you're looking for the type of survival game that doesn't hold your hand and appeals to your inner explorer, this is very much worth picking up. I would not hesitate if it were on sale.

The crafting in The Long Dark is something I'm having fun with, and I hope to see more items added in the future. The maps are large and with nooks and crannies to explore, and the recent addition of a new one had me jumping for joy. Recipes are something I am hoping will find its way into the game, furthering the enjoyment I get from it.

You will die in this game. You will curse your bad luck, you will shout with joy upon finding a rarer item such as a rifle or a firestriker, or maybe you'll go an entire game without having any socks and on day 40, find a worn pair of climbing socks and it will feel like Christmas. You'll be stalked by wolves, run from bears, and enjoy the thrill of the hunt when you down your first deer with a homemade survival bow. This is the game for people who like a challenge. This is also the game for people who want to relax and prefer to play on an easier difficulty so they can explore and experience all this game has to offer.

The Long Dark is a delight to your senses. This is the longest review I have ever given any game, and I have not stopped recommending it to friends. If you prefer constant action games and do not like occasional repitition, this may not be the game for you. Or maybe it is, and you just haven't experienced a game like it before. Pick it up, give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I cannot recommend this game at its current price. For what you get, and the fact that it's a buggy mess, it should be no more than $20. I have no problem getting into a game, but most of the time the ping is 300+ and I'm stuck in a server with people who don't speak my language. This makes it hard to communicate in a game that requires communication to survive. The amount of trolls, generally nasty people, and team killing is absurd. Very rarely have I gotten into a public match that I enjoyed. Most have people teaming up with Jason to help him kill you, players hoarding all the car parts and killing you when you try to take them, or people killing you because they can for the "luls" That being said, this game is super fun WITH FRIENDS. If you can get enough friends to pay for it at this current price, and you can play a private match, it's a lot of fun. Drinking adds to the hilarity and many oops moments when you accidently kill your buddy with a baseball bat. So, if you have the numbers, the game is on sale, and you want something fun to do on a Friday night while drinking with friends, this game is a fun way to pass some time. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.
