This game ... (mod?). There is a lot I can say about this game. I've had it for quite some time, and after long breaks of never playing it, I get this random urge to start back up. When I first purchased the game, I had only considered the single player. Here I am sitting in this massive patch of grass with literally nothing around. I finally press Q for the first time and see all of these props at my disposal. At this point, I somewhat knew how to build a vehicle, so I spawn a tub, throw some wheels on it, and put a seat inside. Hell yeah, I just made my first vehicle, and it's a bathtub. "Woah ... what's this?", I say. I notice in the tools section there are thrusters. Well, let's try it out. I carelessly throw 4 or 5 thrusters on my tub. Did I mention all around the tub, and not just in one place? Yeah ... stupid me. I step into the vehi-tub for the first time, and I feel like an engineer. A brilliant engineer ... until I hit the thruster button. WAPOW!! One press of the button and I'm flying through the air doing circles faster than I can handle. This is crazy! Little did I realize that I just spent 2 hours creating probably the most simple thing in single player. There is just soooo much more, and that's where multiplayer comes in.

I had no idea that multiple would be this diverse. My very first multiplayer game was a Deathrun server, much like the one in CS:S. Then I found Base Wars, which I loooooved to death. Holy s**t I probably spent a solid 50 hours on that server. It's sad to see those types of servers aren't as popular anymore. I do remember this other server where it was Red vs. Blue, about 20 vs. 20 (I could be wrong about the player limit), and you could pick which class you wanted to choose. Obviously your character was going to be ♥♥♥♥, but completing objectives and killing enemies gave you points to upgrade your chosen class. Did I mention the data carries over to other similar servers?

Now that I'm a little more grown up (emphasis on the little), I see Garry's Mod as more than just a fun game to mess around with. Look at the title: Mod. Meaning anyone that knows what they are doing can change part of the game, or add their own flavour to it. If you wanna start programming / getting into some game development, I highly recommend looking into Lua tutorials and other Garry's Mod programming tutorials.

Ugh ... this game. Just do me a favour and buy this game.
